Social Fear

Today’s modern America has brought with it a shift in social norms as virtually all people, to some degree, have developed a fear of human interaction due to a lack thereof.

  1. I find this idea really interesting. It would help to have a few more details here--what evidence is there that all people have more fear of human interaction now than they did fifty years ago? What has caused the shift--digital communication? Are there negative and/or positive consequences to this shift--what are they?

You might want a look at a book called Bowling Alone for more ideas about why Americans are becoming more socially isolated.
